Oh St Patrick's Day...the time when everyone has a little Irish ancestry, cravings for green shirts and pints of Guinness, and the Harrisburg Parade. As a member of the Harrisburg Camera Club, we were invited to shoot the parade in exchange for some free publicity and experience! What an experience it was! Thousands of Central PA residents crowded the downtown improvement district decked in their finest green! In my opinion, the crowd was one of the best parts of the parade.. well that and all the pipers and kilts :) Thankfully, I was able to share the day with my fantastic husband who also had been branded as an official parade photographer.
